On this page I present some of my recent pieces.

Fused glass: Flower bowl (∅ 30 cm)

This design was cut from permanent vinyl using a plotter. The petals were then spread out on a transparant round glass plate, first fused flat and then slumped into shape. This bowl measures 30 cm, but there are also two smaller bowls measuring 25 and 20 cm in diameter.

Tiffany: Orange Lamp 42 x 25 x 25 cm (H x W x D)

For this lamp, the steelwork was first made and then "filled" with Mississippi glass.

Fused Glass: Pendants 4 x 4 cm (W X D)

It was difficult to cut the glass as thinly as possible without it breaking. The glass strips were then fused into the shape of a waffle.

Tiffany: Tealights 10 x 8 x 8 cm (H x W x D)

First, four 10 x 8 cm glass plates were cut, wrapped in copper foil, and then the bottom was cut and also wrapped in copper. Finally, everything was soldered together.

Fused glass: Little dragonflies 15 x 11 cm; 12 x 9 cm (W x D x H)

Pre-made moulds were used for these small dragonflies, which were filled with different coloured frits for the body and ICE frits for the wings.

Combined techniques: Landscape with copper tree 62 x 28 cm (W x H)

Inspired by a photograph of a tree with birds taking flight in Groningen, the colours for this piece were selected and assembled using the Tiffany technique. The owl in the tree and the flock of birds are fused.

A dynamic mosaic of glass that plays with light and form. The composition invites you to look, discover and reinterpret at every moment of the day.

A modern glass artwork with a warm terracotta frame. In the centre, the sun rises above a calm sea, depicted in soft shades of yellow and blue. The whole piece stands in a sleek metal stand and radiates tranquillity, warmth and optimism.

Tiffany: Butterflies 40 x 39 cm (W x H)

An elegant glass artwork in which a group of yellow butterflies appear to be in motion. The transparent background allows light to playfully shine through the glass, bringing the butterflies to life. The piece is set in a sleek metal frame and radiates lightness, joy and freedom.

Fused Glass: Wave of spectrum 18 x 27 x 6 cm (W x D x H)

This work is an artistic glass bowl that is dynamic and colourful. Its shape is reminiscent of an explosion of colours that seem to flow out of the bowl, evoking a sense of movement and energy. The different colours in the bowl - red, yellow, green, blue and purple - provide a vivid contrast to the clear glass, enhancing its visual impact.

Fused Glass: Glass Flags of Limburg and North Brabant 27 x 17 cm (W x H)

These artworks represent the flags of Limburg (left) and North Brabant (right). Both flags are designed in an abstract manner, with the colours and patterns represented by clean lines of glass. The flag of Limburg is yellow with a blue band and a red lion, while the North Brabant flag has a red and white checkerboard pattern. The geometric structure of the glass objects and the bright, striking colours give the work a modern look, but the symbolism of the regional flags is retained.

Fused Glass: Curved rainbow 7 x 28 x 19 cm (H x W x D)

This artwork is an elegant, curved object made of transparent glass incorporating colourful glass strips. The strips run in rhythmic patterns along the curve, forming a vibrant colour palette. The playful arch shape and glossy finish give the piece a modern, dynamic look. The work is reminiscent of a stylised rainbow or wave and is both decorative and artistically striking, ideal as an eye-catcher in a contemporary interior.

Tiffany: Green circles (∅ 30 cm)

This round glass panel consists of a playful composition of circles in various shades of green, yellow and turquoise. The circles are assembled using the Tiffany technique, giving the whole piece the appearance of a modern stained-glass window. The fresh colours and organic shapes create an airy, almost bubbly look. The panel hangs on a delicate chain and is ideal for placing in front of a window, where the light can play beautifully through the transparent and lightly marbled glass pieces.

Fused Glass: Glass bowl with woven colour accents 27 x 27 cm (W x D)

This decorative bowl is made of clear glass and has a modern, slightly curved square shape. Several glass strips in warm copper and red tones run across the surface, forming a kind of woven pattern in the centre. The sides feature subtle glass structures reminiscent of small crystal clusters. The overall effect is elegant and artistic, combining clean lines with playful textures. Perfect as a centrepiece or artistic home accessory.

Fused Glass: Pentagonal glass bowl with blue-green stripes 25 x 25 cm (W x D)

This bowl is made from fused glass strips in various shades of blue, transparent and green. The glass strips form a dynamic, almost wavy pattern that converges towards the centre. The edges are irregular and slightly curved upwards, giving the bowl a playful, organic shape. The whole has a modern, handmade look and is reminiscent of flowing water or seascapes.

Fused glass: Anthracite glass bowl with pastel-coloured drop accents (∅ 30 cm)

This handmade glass bowl has a deep anthracite grey interior and a soft, rounded shape. Along the outer edge, drop-shaped accents in light blue, turquoise and purple create a playful and colourful contrast with the dark glass. The bowl stands on a shiny round base, which subtly reflects the colours.

Fused glass: Orange star-shaped glass bowl (∅ 30 cm)

This colourful glass bowl has a striking star pattern that fans out from the centre. Bright orange triangles alternate with transparent segments, creating a dynamic sun or flower-like effect. In the centre is a small round element in a warm yellow tone that adds extra depth to the design. The bowl is slightly curved and has a fresh, energetic look.

Fused Glass: "Wave of Blue" 7 x 28 x 19 cm (H x W x D)

This abstract glass sculpture features layered glass strips in various shades of blue and teal, arranged in a flowing, wave-like formation. The design evokes the beauty and motion of water, with each piece of glass delicately curving to form a dynamic and visually striking piece of art.

Enamelled glass: Glass coasters with nature motifs 10 x 10 cm (W x D)

This set of glass coasters features a beautiful variety of designs inspired by nature. The coasters feature delicate illustrations of plants and animals. On the left, we see coasters with detailed images of green ferns in various shades, while in the middle and on the right, animal motifs such as a guinea fowl, kookaburra, wombat, koala and echidna are depicted. The designs are minimalist and elegant, executed in different styles ranging from colourful to black and white, and they add a refined, natural charm to everyday objects.

Fused Glass: Christmas tree decorations var. 5 x 3.5 cm and 4 x 4 cm (H x W)

Various handmade glass Christmas ornaments hang from the display. They come in various shapes, such as diamonds and triangles, and are made of clear or coloured glass framed with copper foil. Each piece has a unique design: some feature colourful dots, others geometric shapes or an abstract Christmas tree motif. The bright colours give the ornaments a playful and festive character. The combination of glass, colour and metal creates a traditional, modern look that is perfect for atmospheric decoration during the festive season.
